Research Abstract

AOTVとはAeroassisted Orbital Transfer Vehicle(空気力を利用する軌道間移動宇宙船)の略で,宇宙船を高軌道から低軌道に変更するときに必要な減速を傘状のものを広げて,大気を利用した空気ブレ-キによって行なおうとするもので,本課題の研究組織メンバ-20人は,(1)衝撃層の干渉(逆噴射プル-ムと衝撃層との干渉),(2)実在気体効果(強い衝撃波による空気の解離,電離,〓射の効果),(3)希薄気体効果(傘まわりの低密度流れ),(4)熱防御(表面熱伝達,表面の触媒性)を分担して研究を行なっている.
得られた成果を項目別に書くと
(1)衝撃層の干渉:逆噴射プル-ムと衝撃層との干渉の流れ場がLIF法による可視化技法により,実験的に調べられた.逆噴射ジェットと一様流の貯気槽圧力の比が小さくなると自由流衝撃波,接触面,マッハディスクが前後に振動することが観察された.これは数値シミュレ-ションにより検証された.
(2)実在気体効果:強い衝撃波による解離,電離,〓射の効果がマッハ数20以上の極超音速流に対して数値シミュレ-ションにより調べられた.この実在気体効果は衝撃波の離脱距離を小さくすることが分かった.また衝撃層内の温度分布に著しい影響を及ぼすことが認められた.
(3)希薄気体効果:鈍頭物体回りの低密度流が直接モンテカルロシミュレ-ションとボルツマン方程式の数値シミュレ-ションにより調べられた.また低密度気体中を飛行する極超音速体の実験の目的でバリスティックレ-ンジを製作し,その性能実験が行われた.
(4)熱防御:表面熱伝達と表面の触媒性が熱伝達に及ぼす効果が実験と数値シミュレ-ションの両面から調べられた.特に,表面の触媒性がない非触媒性壁は熱伝達量を減少させることが得られた.
