| Research Abstract |
We set an upper limit of BR＜2.6×10^<-8> (90% CL) on the branching ratio of the CP violating K_L→π^0νν^^- decay based on the data taken at KEK. We also built a new beam line and detector components for the J-PARC high intensity proton accelerator to search for the effect of new physics with a sensitivity close to the branching ratio predicted by the standard model.
