Research Abstract |
The stress ribbon bridge swings easily by dynamic load, becouse of it's low bending stiffness. So it is necessary to clear up the characteristics of vibration and the utilities considered the human response to vibration. In this study, first, the eigenvalue analysis method in a vertical plane of stress ribbon bridge is proposed. The characteristics of natural frequencies of the stress ribbon pedestrian bridge are become clear using non-dimentional analysis. Second, the accuracy of analytical method of natural frequencies in a vertical plane of the stress ribbon pedestrian bridge and the changes of natural frequencies which are caused by the change of the temperature are examined. It was found that the proposed method was very useful. And, it became evident that the natural frequencies didn't change according to the change of atmospheric temperature, if the change of atmospheric temperature is 50゚C.Third, the dynamic characteristics of Prestressed Concrete stress ribbon pedestrian bridges are examined by experiments. The equations of the natural frequencies and the damping constant of the one degree symmetrical mode are proposed as an exponetial function of span length.
