Research Abstract

24年度は,23年度に引き続き反応時に必要な熱を利用した自動閉鎖型バルブの改良と,モジュール化可能な機構の開発の基盤技術として,新しく小型デバイスに開発に必要な小型の電力供給システムの開発を行った。
反応時に必要な熱を利用した自動閉鎖型バルブは,ポリメラーゼ連鎖反応(PCR)の熱サイクル中に溶液が揮発するのを防ぐための機構であり,反応時の熱を駆動現としたバルブである。23年度までに光硬化性樹脂を使ったデバイス作製法とマイクロ流路内における薄膜変形の解析手段を確立しており,24年度は実際の反応系でマイクロ流路内に作製した反応場を自動的に閉鎖できるようなバルブの開発をするための解析をした。また,NOA81を用いた作製法を応用した3次元的に入り組んだ構造や流路の作製も行っており,商品化されている3Dプリンターと同等の分解能を達成している。
デバイス作製の試作段階では非常に重要な技術である。
小型デバイス開発に必要な小型の電力供給システムの開発に関しては,原理確認とLEDや小型ポンプの駆動を行った。マイクロチップの微小化に対して,周辺機器が小型化していないことが問題視されており,近年はポンプやバルブ,検出器に関しての小型化開発も進んでいる。その場で分析を行うオンサイト分析のためには装置全体の小型化は非常に重要ではあるが,そうした小型デバイスへの電力供給システムの小型化研究がされていなかったため,本研究では,イヤフォンジャックとイヤフォンケーブルを用いて,スマートフォンや携帯音楽プレーヤーから出力される音声データを電気信号として扱い,小型デバイスへの電力供給源として用いた。このシステムを使用することで,LEDの点灯,点滅,小型の電気浸透流ポンプの駆動に成功した。
