Research Abstract |
A suitable material for filling into the d cavity prepared with the Air-abrasion system was researched. The experiment done before said the marginal leakage of low viscous resin restored into the air-abraded cavity is less than that of conservative resin. It experimented by using the bonding material in one step, two steps, and three steps for one kind of low viscous resin. It was suggested that a lot of dye penetration was seen in the samples when the bonding material in one step was used for the bonding material in two steps and three steps, and the marginal leakage was large. Then it made comparative study of the difference of the cutting performance according to the type of the device. A big difference was not admitted though desk-top type (Prep Start/Power Plus) was a little inferior the cutting performance compared with floor putting type (KCP1000). f Prep Start considerably low. It seems that it is a cause in this that the cutting pressure is low and it is difficult to use of it to cut in clinical. The air-abrasive condition when the fissure sealant was done decided to be examined, as a possibility of a further application about them. The cutting pressure might cut even dentin in 120psi though cannot be likely to do an enough removal in 4Opsi. The marginal leakage of GIG filled into these cavities is less than that of the resin. When the fractured tooth crown restoration is repaired, the damage side has been ground with the rotation cutting tool etc. It made comparative study of the possibility of the repair to which respect was ground further with the air-abrasive for a hard resin. It is considered that it is possible to apply it enough because the crack etc. are not caused though a grinding side obviously different from the rotation cutting tool is formed.
