Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究課題では、学習者の認知・感情・環境といった要因を包括的に捉える4次元モデルを実際の言語学習アドバイジングで適用することを目標とし、以下2点を目的として研究を進めている。前年度の研究実績を踏まえ、当該年度の研究実績の概要を述べる。
(1)認知と感情の4次元モデルの開発と応用:前年度までの結果を踏まえ、当該年度は学習者の認知と感情が特定の環境・時間軸でどのように形成され、変化していくのかを追跡調査した。これまでの半構造化インタビューおよび複数のアンケートから得られたデータを踏まえると、過去の学習経験の解釈や意味づけによって現在の学習経験の質に影響を与えるということが明らかになった。また、文脈や時間軸は異なれども、それまでの解釈や意味づけが学習者の主体性と結び付いており、学習者の中で蓄積された解釈や意味づけを基に主体性を発揮し複雑な判断をしていることも明らかになった。
(2)学習者を包括的に配慮したアドバイジング実践:前年度までの結果を踏まえ、当該年度は1名の学習者を対象に縦断的なアドバイジングを行った。アドバイジングにおける対話やツールを通して過去・現在・未来の各時間軸における認知・感情・環境の詳細を尋ねた結果、(1)とも関連するが、当該学習者も過去の学習経験の解釈や意味づけが現在の主体性に強く影響を与えていた。また、定期的なアドバイジングで学習経験を言語化および可視化することで、アドバイザーと学習者の対話が促進された上、双方が共通した理解を構築していくことが可能となった。その結果、学習者はアドバイジングを通して過去・現在・未来という時間軸や環境などの学習経験に関わる影響を多面的に捉えていくことにより、学習への関与を変化させていることが明らかになった。
