Research Abstract

計算機を用いた数値計算において,結果を「約○○」の形で近似的に求めるのではなく,真の解を含む結果を「□□以上□□以下」の形で求める方法を精度保証付き数値計算という.解の上界および下界は通常「区間」というデータ構造によって与えられる.区間の幅を小さくするように精度保証付き解を求めることは重要なことである.本研究では,区間の両端点の他に変数間の相関を表現できる特殊なデータ構造によって区間を表すことで,区間幅の増大を抑えつつ方程式の精度保証付き解を得るための新たな知見を与えた.
