Research Abstract |
The main purpose of this research was to investigate the applicability of the methods of program evaluation in the field of psycho-educational/social work practices. Particular attentions have been paid to assess to what degree these methods are generalizable to the contextualized evaluation practices, thereby encouraging (or discouraging) particular approaches to the particular evaluation settings. Findings suggested that although the methods used in social science have most often been applied to evaluating programs, effective adaptabilities of these methods could be depend upon the degree to which programs are practiced based on the theoretical background and managed carefully according to these backgrounds.
