Research Abstract

Pigment epithelium derived factor (PEDF) is expected to lead to improved therapies for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. To clarify whether PEDF improves early-stage diabetic nephropathy by antioxidative stress activities, production of transgenic mouse which express of PEDF is induced by tetracycline was attempted.
