Research Abstract

Early detection of the head and neck cancer is very important to preserve function of pharynx and larynx. Detection of high risk character of head and neck cancer is also easy to treat with functional preservation. One of the carcinogens of head and neck is acetaldehyde and the person who is ALDH2 heterogamete type is high risk of head and neck cancer. This research is using to expiration of ethanol drinking person to detect the high risk person. But, instability of acetaldehyde is very difficult to this research and I cannot obtain any result in this research.
