Outline of Research at the Start

本課題では,ディジタル回路を遠隔で学習・演習する際の効果を高めるための,「さわれる」遠隔学習システムを提案する.安価なコントローラボードを制作し,これを用いて遠隔環境の演習ボードを操作することで,実地で直接ボードを操作する時と同じ感覚で,回路の動作を確認できるようにする.そのプロトタイプを実験・実習科目に利用することで,実地での演習・実験と同等の学習効果が提案システムで得られることを明らかにする.

Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research, we proposed SawareruSys, a "touchable" remote lab system to learn and experience digital circuit and FPGA effectively. It aims to overcome a problem of existing FPGA lab systems, or difficulty of giving student a feeling of touching hardware. We developed an inexpensive controller board that communicates with an FPGA lab board on a remote environment. This enables students to virtually "touch" hardware even in the remote lab environment, without an FPGA lab board in hand.

本課題を通じて,ディジタル回路や FPGA の効率的な遠隔学習のための環境を提案できた.作成したプロトタイプにかかる成果は査読付国際会議での発表を行っており,提案したシステムはオープンソースハードウェアとして,その設計およびソースコードを GitHub で公開している.また,近い将来システムの一般利用も可能となる予定である.
