Research Abstract |
The unilateral ureteral obstructive(UUO) model of the mouse was created. We evaluated the natural time course of renal fibrosis after UUO operation. Renal fibrosis was occurred in both renal medulla and cortex at least from the 3rd day after UUO creation. DHMEQ treatment decreased the interstitial fibrosis, tubular apoptosis and proliferation as compared with control group in the non-immune nephritis model. On the other hand, DTCM(dodecylthiocarbonyl methyl) did not achieve the significant effect against the renal fibrosis compared with the control group. I thought that the further detailed examination of the medication method, an administration route, and a dosing period was required.
