| Outline of Research at the Start |
就労者の多くが経験する腰痛は，その労働生産性を著しく低下させることで，多大なる社会経済的損失を生み出している．腰痛の病態に関与する要因の一つに運動恐怖が挙げられ，腰痛の発症・慢性化に悪影響を及ぼす．申請者はこれまで，三次元動作解析装置を使用して，作業動作時の体幹運動の異常には運動恐怖が関与していることを明らかにしてきた．しかし，これまでは実験的に証明してきたため，広く臨床現場に汎化することができなかった．そこで本研究では，臨床現場において運動恐怖による体幹運動の異常を簡便かつ正確に計測可能なシステムを構築し，そのシステムに基づいた新たな腰痛予防プログ ラムの開発を行い，その効果を検証する．

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
It was shown that potentially fearful workers overestimate their fear before performing the task and exhibit motor behaviors that protect their lower back. The motor behavior was manifested by a slowness of trunk extension movements.
The results indicate that it is possible to detect abnormalities in trunk movement caused by fear of exercise by focusing on trunk extension movements.

本研究成果の学術的意義・社会的意義について，体幹運動の運動学的分析を試みることによって，誰もが臨床現場で簡便かつ正確に計測・判定できる評価システムを構築できた点に意義がある．
本申請研究によって，臨床現場で容易に「恐怖回避行動」が評価可能となることは，実際 の腰痛有訴者に対するリスク評価や病態把握，介入効果の判定に貢献し得る．
