Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study was to clarify the central fatigue caused during dynamic movement. This study using the near-infrared spectroscopy apparatus (NIRS) cleared the real change in brain blood volume during exercise, the presence of functional complementarity in dynamic movement leading to exhaustion. In previous studies, it did not take into account the effects of increased cranial blood volume during exercise, so the view of the brain's blood volume as an indirect indicator of nerve activity at the center was not agreed. This study was able to remove the influence of cranial blood volume and reveal らreal changes in brain blood volume. Also, it was confirmed the presence of functional complementarity at the center.
