Outline of Final Research Achievements

Transcriptomic analysis was performed by RNA-seq during EMT of mammary epithelial cells. We found a list of differentially expressed non-coding RNAs during this process. We identified lncRNA-Smad7 as an anti-apoptotic non-coding RNA. A FAIRE-seq dataset was also obtained and we observed promising data showing the dynamic changes in the open chromatin regions during EMT.
