Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Semaphorin (Sema) 3A is known as an inducer of axon outgrowth. In this study, we demonstrated that distribution of Sema 3A in periodontal and dental pulp tissues. We also analyzed of Sema 3A expressing cells and their receptor expressing cells in pulp tissue. These studies suggested that Sema 3A might be involved in the maintenance of tissue homeostasis via its receptor expressing cells.
