研究概要

骨粗鬆症による椎体骨折の多重化と血漿中骨細胞特異的蛋白Matrix Extracellular Phosphoglycoprotein(MEPE)濃度の関連を明らかとした。MEPE自体の測定系の臨床応用と普及に関しては夾雑物の存在が明らかとなり達していないが、この間のin vitroおよび臨床の検討から骨細胞特異的物質の測定の重要性と次のターゲットとすべき物質が明らかとなり、これらの測定系の開発を進めている。
