研究概要

Ndrg2の発現が、ラットへの抗うつ薬長期投与及び電気けいれん負荷で共通して減少することを明らかにしてきた。しかし、Ndrg2の中枢神経系での役割は、ほとんどわかっていなかった。本研究では、胎仔期脊髄及び成獣期脳において、Ndrg2が神経幹細胞及びアストロサイトに発現していることを明らかにした。Ndrg2が神経幹細胞の増殖やアストロサイトへの分化に関与する可能性が考えられた。
