ライン全体の設備投資額の最小化および稼働率向上の両立を目指した、バイパスライン生産システムの設計および投入順序付けの最適化を、作業時間、ライン長、バッファなどを考慮して、シミュレーション技法等を用いて検討した。また、環境を考慮した循環型生産システムに関して数理モデルによる解析を行い、再生産も考慮した生産ラインの最適化に関しての研究を行った。
