計算量的に困難な代数的アルゴリズムの解析を行った。格子に関連する問題の改良アルゴリズムやそれらに基づく準同型暗号方式の鍵生成法の改良、いくつかの多変数公開鍵暗号への効率的な攻撃法の提案、ペアリング計算に関する解析を行った。また、これらの解析に基づき、量子計算機からの攻撃に対して安全だと期待される一つの方式の提案を行った。
