研究概要

数論的誤差項,特にディリクレの約数問題から生ずる誤差項Δ(x)について,Δ(x)やその2乗を係数に持つディリクレ級数の解析的性質を研究すると共に,Δ(x)を含む積分の明示公式を導いた.またΔ(x)と深い関係にあるチャウラ-ワールムの和について,指数対の理論を適用し,上からの評価を改良した.またこの和の2乗平均値定理についても,従来知られている結果の改良を得た.一方,我々の研究対象の一般化として,一般約数問題をチャウラ-ワールムの和の拡張を用いて研究し,その誤差項の2乗の離散平均と連続平均の差を詳細に研究した.
