研究概要

摂食調節および生活習慣病に関連する新規生理活性ペプチドの探索を目的として、生活習慣病に関わる組織で発現しているオーファン受容体に対する内因性リガンド探索や新たに開発したスクリーニング法を用いて探索を進めた結果、数種類の新規活性因子候補を見出した。また、グレリンの交感神経抑制活性に基づく急性心筋梗塞モデルマウスの予後改善や、ニューロメジンSの中枢性循環制御について遺伝子改変マウスを用いて明らかにした。
