研究概要

本研究では、胃癌や大腸癌における腫瘍進展に関連する新たな遺伝子を同定し、その臨床病理学的意義を明らかにすることを目的とした。細胞外基質蛋白lamininγ2はMMP-7とともに腫瘍進展過程で発現が増加したが、逆にギャップ結合構成蛋白connexin30は発現が減少する一方で、腸型粘液形質を示す分化型腺癌の新規分化マーカーであることが明らかとなった。さらにタイトジャンクション構成蛋白claudin-18は予後不良な大腸癌の新規診断マーカーであることが明らかとなった。
