研究概要

本研究では、人工知能技術を応用した3次元医用画像診断支援システムの開発を行った。 本研究で開発した人工知能技術は、改良形GMDH(Group Method of Data Handling)-type ニューラルネットワークアルゴリズムで、対象となる医用画像の特徴に適した人工ニューラルネットワークの構造を、医用画像のデータから自動的に自己組織化する機能を備えている。本研究では、従来のアルゴリズムで問題になっていた学習計算における多重共線性の発生を、主成分回帰分析を用いることにより防止して高精度なアルゴリズムを開発した。そして肺癌などの医用画像診断に適用して、その有効性を確認した。
