研究概要

動脈硬化症制圧のため新しい標的を確立することが重要である。抗動脈硬化作用をもつ高密度リポタンパク質 HDL は生理活性脂質スフィンゴシン 1-リン酸 (S1P)に富む。S1P の培養血管内皮細胞への作用、および心血管危険因子保有者の血漿 S1P 濃度と血管内皮機能の関係を明らかにした。また、新規 S1P 供与体として人工 HDL 粒子を創製し、その生理活性を評価し動脈硬化の先駆的治療方法を開発した。
