研究概要

近年、脳イメージング技術の進歩により、脳内の島皮質と呼ばれる領域が「身体と感情」の統合に大きく関与していることがわかってきた。本研究 では、脳イメージング技術を用いて運動経験が、感情と関連する島皮質脳内ネットワークにどのような影響を与えるかを検討することを 目的とした。その結果、島皮質の中でも特に右の前方部分に存在する右前部島皮質の活動が、感情（快感情・不快感情）と相関を示すことを確認できた。また、島皮質が運動経験の有無と関連した活動をしめした。このことは、運動経験が脳活動に関与することを示していると考えられる。
