研究成果の概要

TLR3-ノックアウトマウスにハプテン塗布による遅延型過敏反応や刺激性皮膚炎反応などのアトピー性皮膚炎のモデル反応を惹起して、皮膚での炎症反応を養子移入実験なども含めて詳細に検討するとともに病理組織学的に検討を行ったところ、TLR3-ノックアウトマウスでは野生型に比べて反応の減弱がみられた。アレルギー性皮膚炎、刺激性皮膚炎の反応に表皮角化細胞や線維芽細胞に発現するTLR3を介した炎症増強反応が深く関与していることが示唆された。
