研究概要

我々はこれまで、化学振動反応(BZ反応)を利用し、一定条件下で自発的に周期的リズム運動を行う新しい自励振動型の高分子およびゲルを開発した。本研究ではこの自励振動高分子にフォトクロミック部位を導入し、光異性化に伴う電荷量変化をコントロールすることでゲルの膨潤・収縮を制御し、かつ化学反応波の伝播方向制御を試みた。光照射により収縮するようなフォトクロミック機能を自励振動ゲルに付与し、膨潤収縮振動の時空間制御を行った。これにより、輸送方向が時空間的に任意に制御可能な新しい物質輸送表面の実現を目指した。
