研究概要

遺伝情報の正確な継承を保証する細胞核構造を解析するために、独自に開発した蛍光タンパク質ライブラリーや、生細胞蛍光イメージング法、DNAマイクロアレイ、分子遺伝学的な手法を用いて、分裂酵母の減数分裂の過程を解析し、遺伝情報継承に関与する分子や仕組みを明らかにした。また、ヒト細胞を用いて核構造を解析し、遺伝情報の継承場として働く仕組みの一端を明らかにした。ヒト細胞を用いて核構造を解析し、核膜と染色体の相互作用が遺伝情報の継承に働く仕組みについて新しい知見を得た。
