研究概要	1.アソシエーションスキームを用いてのスピンモデルの研究に特に著しい進展を見た。(1)スピンモデルの概念の一般化、(2)スピンモデルの新しい例の構成、(3)アソシエーションスキームとスピンモデルの間のより深い関係の発見、などがこの一年間に得られた最大の成果である。 (1)Jonesにより1989年に導入されたスピンモデルの概念は、先ず宗政-綿谷により(非対称性を許す)generalized spin modelの導入という形で拡張され、次に坂内英一-坂内悦子によりスピンモデルの最終版ともいえるgeneralized generalized spin modelの概念に到達した。 (2)先ず、坂内-坂内によるHamming association schemeの指標表におけるmodular invarianceの発見と、それを用いての坂内-坂内-生田-川越によるHamming association scheme上のスピンモデルの構成に始まった。これは野村和正によるHadamardグラフ上のスピンモデルの構成、坂内-坂内による巡回群上のスピンモデルのfamilyの構成につながった。またこれは脇本実によるLie環から出来るspin modelsの構成を導いた。またHadamard行列と関連した色々の新しい形のスピンモデルも山田美枝子により構成された。 (3)坂内-坂内-Jaegerによるスピンモデルの存在とmodular invarianceの関係の明確化、坂内-Jaeger-Saliによる小さなsizeのスピンモデルの決定などの成果が得られた。 2.この一般Bによる援助のため、九大における代数的組合せ論のactivityは著しい成功をおさめた。このことを深く感謝する。
