研究概要

第2回京都-シエナシンポジウムは、平成5年9月27日午後5時、京大会館における開会式でその幕を切って落とした。
本シンポジウムにおける日伊学際領域研究は、(1)自然科学部門、(2)経済学部門、(3)人間・芸術・文学部門の3部門から成っており、研究発表シンポジウムは9月28日と29日の全日、および30日の午前中に行われた。それぞれの内容は次のとおりである。
(1)自然科学部門 主題:人間生活の向上のための科学の進歩 研究発表講演は日本側12件、イタリア側10件。
(2)経済学部門 主題:環境と資源の制約のもとでの産業経済の諸問題 研究発表講演は日本側9件、イタリア側6件。
(3)人間・芸術・文学部門 主題:人間学におけるイメージの役割:文化交流人類学的アプローチ。研究発表講演は日本側11件、イタリア側9件。
これら3部門における研究発表に対して熱心な討論が行われ、それぞれの研究分野における研究の進展に対して強いインパクトが与えられた。
文化交流フォーラム「21世紀の都市のイメージ」においては、5名のパネラ-により、学際的な観点から現代の都市、特に京都市、が抱える現実的な問題について活発な討論が行われた。
文化交流事業として、日本の民族舞踊と音楽の紹介や、文化財の見学、観賞、訪問などを行い、異文化交流の実を挙げた。
第2回京都-シエナシンポジウムは、平成5年10月2日午前10時、京大会館における閉会式でその幕を閉じた。
