研究概要

本研究では,数理統計学における各種の情報抽出の方法についての理論とその実際問題への応用に関して、さまざまな観点から統合的に研究を行った。これは平成8年度からの継続研究であり、平成9年度は特に次のテーマに焦点をあて、各テーマごとに研究集会を開催する形式で研究を行った。(1)統計的推論のフレームワークの基礎的研究,(2)計算機統計学の理論と応用の研究,(3)統計的漸近理論とその応用の研究,(4)統計的推測の基礎理論と応用の研究,(5)推定論とその応用の研究
(1)については、組み合わせ数学の統計的推論、可積分条件と推定方程式論、変分原理に基づく統計モデル構築・推論法等についての研究成果が得られた。
(2)については、変数選択法、多重比較法、最適化法、検定過程、インターネットを利用した統計解析法、統計ソフトウエア等についての研究成果が得られた。
(3)については、多変量解析、空間予測、時系列解析、ノンパラメトリック法、解散型、医学データ等の領域における近似理論、漸近理論、極限分布論等についての研究成果が得られた。
(4)については、数理統計学における基礎的諸問題、多変量モデル、確率過程の母性モデル、時系列モデル、ベイズモデル等における統計的推測についての研究成果が得られた。
(5)については、良い性質を持つ推定量の構成、各種推定量の性質の比較・検討、同時信頼区間の構成、確率密度関数の推定問題等についての研究成果が得られた。
