統計モデルに基づくリモートセンシング画像の高解像度化

研究概要

本研究の主目的は低解像度の画質を向上させることであった。つまり、地球観測衛星ランドサットから送信されるTMデータでは6つのバンドの地表面解像度は30m四方であるのに対し、熱画像では120m四方と画質が劣る.そこで全バンドの値が多変量正規分布に従うと仮定し、高解像度の6つのバンド値の条件付き期待値により熱画像を改良した.この結果を高解像度画像を平均化して作った模擬低解像度画像に適応し、平均自乗誤差により比較し、提案している手法の性能が優れていることを客観的に示した.
衛星データの解析に関連した研究として以下の概要の成果を得た。
・判別を単一スペクトルにより行なう場合、有意な分類2つと判別保留の3分木判別法を自動的に作成する手法を提案し、教師データへ適応した.本手法は複数の土地利用が混ざっているミクセルの検出に有効であることが示された.
・種々の判別手法を比較する準備として、各手法で得られた誤差行列の関数で測る方法が提案されている。従来広く使われているカッパ係数が比較基準では不適当であることを示し、カルバック-ライブラ-情報量に基づいた基準を」提案し、その検定統計量をえた。
・森林と人口との関係を定量的に捉えるため,両者間に微分方程式モデルを仮定し,理論モデルを導出した.広島県の実データに種々のモデルを仮定した際,理論モデルが情報量基準より選ばれる事がわかった.
・ベイズ線形回帰モデルを仮定した1次元データを高速にスムージングする手法を開発し、ランドサット画像に縦方向、横方向へと当てはめ、平均自乗誤差の基準で手法の有効性を確認した.
