研究概要

本研究は、高エネルギー密度全固体イオニクス素子の固体電解質材料として、高いリチウムイオン伝導性あるいは高いプロトン伝導性の期待できる新規な非晶質固体電解質材料を探索し、得られた非晶質材料の固体電解質としての特性評価を行うことを目的として行ったものである。本年度は、昨年度得られた知見を基にさらに研究を進め、以下のような知見を得た。
(1)溶融急冷法により作製したLi_2S-SiS_2-Li_3PO_4系オキシスルフィドガラスについて、^7LiNMR測定により縦緩和時間T_1の温度依存性を調べ、リチウムイオンのダイナミックスについて検討した。その結果、Li_3PO_4を少量添加した組成においてT_1は極小を示し、イオン伝導度の組成依存性と一致した挙動を示すことがわかった。
(2)融液を超急冷することにより得られるLi_2S-SiS_2-Li_3MO_3(M=B,Al,Ga,In)系オキシスルフィドガラスを固体電解質とした全固体固体型電池を試作し、その充放電特性について調べたところ、正極にLiCoO_2、負極に金属Inを用いたセルは二次電池として機能することが明らかになった。
(3)メカニカルミリングを用いて、Li_2O-SiS_2系およびLi_2S-Al_2S_3系の新規な非晶質固体電解質の作製に成功した。Li_2O-SiS_2系については、得られた非晶質体の粉末成形体の室温における伝導度は10^<-4>S/cm以上の高い値を示すことがわかった。
(4)種々の酸をドープしたメソポーラスシリカゲルは、低湿度下においても高いプロトン伝導性を示すことがわかった。
(5)リン酸を含浸させた多孔化シリカゲルは、130℃に保持すると時間とともにプロトン伝導度が減少したのに対して、ホスホシリケートゲルの場合には、時間の経過に伴う伝導度の減少はほとんど見られないことがわかった。
