中国雲南省少数民族とタイ北部山岳民族の遺伝的起源と系統関係

研究概要	アジア諸地域の人類集団の遺伝的特性を知ることは、日本人の成立を知る上でもきわめて重要である。中国雲南省周辺には、20種族を超える少数民族が知られ独自の風俗文化を有しているが、各種族の起源や種族間の遺伝的関係に関してはほとんど知られていない。またタイにも各種少数民族がいるが、雲南省と共通した種族名をもつ人々もおり、その遺伝的起源は興味深く、それらを明らかにする必要性がある。本学術調査では(1)雲南省及びタイの少数民族を最新のDNAマーカーを用いて調べることにより、各種族の遺伝的特性及び相互の系統関係を明らかにする。(2)雲南省とタイの少数民族で得られたデータを比較することにより、中国南部と東南アジア地域間の過去の移住を明らかにする。(3)貴重な少数民族の遺伝資源をリンパ球のセルライン化によって永久保存する。平成13年度の研究概要:(1)中国雲南省での調査では、昆明市の中国医科学院を拠点として、周辺山岳部にて血液試料を採取した(2)タイの山岳民族の調査では、コンケン大学を拠点とし、タイ東北部の調査地に入り、血液試料を採取した。(3)採取した血液試料は迅速に現地拠点に持ち返り、生リンパ球を分離し、凍結保存した。さらに、血小板や顆粒球より、DNAを分離精製した。(4)凍結リンパ球は、一部を現地拠点に保管し、日本に持ち返り総合研究大学院大学で、セルライン化して永久保存を行っている。(5)DNA試料は、各種遺伝マーカーの専門である分担研究者に分配して、ミトコンドリアDNAの塩基配列による多型検索、DNAタイピングによる各種HLA遺伝子座の検索、DNAタイピングによる血液型の検索、Y染色体DNA多型の検索、常染色体マイクロサテライト座の多型検索、グロビン遺伝子座の多型検索などを行った。(6)各種遺伝マーカーで得られたデータを個別及び総合的に評価し、他人類集団でのデータも加味した人類遺伝学的研究を行った。
