研究概要

今年度は、テータリフトとそれに関連するmetaplectic表現について研究し、次の結果を得た。
1、2次ユニタリ群上の正則保型形式fから3次ユニタリ群上の正則保型形式L(f)をテータ級数を介して構成するKudlaリフトについて研究した。特に、L(f)のフーリエ、ヤコビ展開を完全に決定した。各係数は本質的に、fの周期、テータ関数の周期およびHecke作用素に関する固有値で表される。その応用として、L(f)が消えないためのcriterionを得た。また、Kudlaリフトの正則性や、それがHecke作用素の作用に対してcompatibleであることの別証を得た。(金沢大、理・菅野孝史氏との共同研究)
2、局所体上の般のユニタリ群のmetaplectic表現を詳細に研究し、特にそのmodel-independentなsplittingの明示公式および指標公式を得た。これは、1の証明で重要な役割を果たすものであるが、テータリフトの研究において今後も様々な応用があると思われる。
今後は、今年度の研究をさらに深めるために、次のような研究計画を予定している。
1、L(f)のノルムを計算して、L(f)が消えないための新しいcriterionを得る。そのために、(U(2,1),U(2,2))に対するSiegel-Weil公式を研究する。
2、一般の3次ユニタリ群上の保型形式のフーリエ、ヤコビ展開に対する予想を研究する。
また、今年度は、愛媛大・理・平野幹氏をプログラム責任者として、第9回整数論サマースクール「ゼータ関数」を開催し、本研究費から旅費の部や報告集の印刷費等を援助した。サマースクールは盛況で、若手研究者の知識を高めるとともに、研究者のあいだの交流をはかることができた。
