研究概要

本特定領域研究により、神経幹細胞から神経回路網形成にいたる脳発達の全体像を分子レベルから解明する研究が推進された。さらに、分子、神経細胞および高次ネットワークの3つのレベルから神経細胞機能発現の分子機構解明が進展した。また、神経細胞、神経回路、システムの階層を貫いて、分子レベルから脳高次機能に迫る統合研究が推進された。これらの研究成果は多くの学術論文として発表され、広く社会にも伝えられました。
