研究概要

散在型単純群J_4の極大部分群の既約Brauer指標の計算をFong-Reynoldsの定理などを適用することで、すべての奇素数pについて決定した。この結果を基にp=3の場合について、主ブロック以外の既約Brauer指標をほぼすべて決定した。この既約Brauer指標の値を使い、散在型単純群J_4のBrou¶e予想に関する肯定的な計算が行われた。更に、p=11の場合について、主ブロックの射影指標の計算を進めた。
