研究概要

幾つかの相の間の界面あるいは移動境界が,流体中の泡の運動・融解する氷・結晶成長といった多くの重要な物理現象にしばしば登場する.数値シミュレーションは,このような現象を研究するための不可欠な道具となっているが,我々は移動境界問題に対する直接法の一種であるクリスタライン・アルゴリズムという数値計算手法について研究を行った.この手法の一般化を行い,移動境界問題に対する強力な数値手法を得るとともに,それに関連する諸問題を解明した.さらにそれらの応用についても研究を行った.
