研究概要

本研究では、1cm 以上のガラス形成能臨界直径をもつ大型バルク金属ガラス(BMG)の創製および局所的原子配列や様々な物性が発現する機構を基礎研究項目として究明するとともに、新規に開発された大型 BMG を用いて応用分野のさらなる拡大を図り、高度に安全・安心で、より豊かな人類社会構築のための新基盤材料として確立することを目指すことを目的としている。
