研究概要

多国籍企業が進出した国では,その国の市場規模が大きいほど,部品輸送にかかる費用が小さいほど,そして直接投資額が大きいほど本国からの部品輸入が増大する。この含意を日本の最終財貿易と直接投資とのデータに当てはめて分析した。因果関係を明確にするために、二段階最小自乗法と一階の階差モデルを用い、さまざまな条件をコントロールした後であっても、「日本からの直接投資の増大はその進出国からの日本への逆輸入を増加させる」という関係を確認した
