研究概要

「階層構造を持つ最適化問題とその周辺」の諸問題について様々な検討を行った。「階層構造を持つ凸最適化問題」に対しては、１層目の最適化問題の目的関数が、必ずしも微分可能でない場合にも、２層目の目的関数にMoreau正則化を適用することで、ハイブリッド最急降下法が適用可能となり、多くの問題が見通しよく解決できることを明らかにした．その過程で非可微分凸関数最適化問題の応用として、近接写像を用いた疎情報適応学習やテンソル補間問題のアルゴリズムを開発した。非凸最適化の例として、平均２乗誤差の不偏推定値に基づく低階数最小分散擬似不偏推定法の最適ランクの決定問題、一般化固有値ベクトルの最良近似問題を検討した。
