磁性体における電流-磁化相互作用の微視的理論の構築とその熱現象への展開

研究概要

磁石に直接電流を流すことにより磁石の向き(=磁化)を変える、すなわち磁化を操作することができる。逆に、磁化を変化させると、磁石内部で電流が生じる。このように、磁化と電流は磁石内部でお互いに影響し合っている。このような現象を、微視的なモデルに基づいて理論的に定式化した。更に、相対性理論の効果(スピン軌道相互作用)を利用した磁化操作や、温度差による磁化操作について、理論を拡張して調べた。
