I have established a framework to evaluate students' critical thinking when solving complex problems. I am working with school teachers to implement design-based learning and apply the critical thinking evaluation framework that I have established.

理由
With the relaxation of border control, I was able to conduct some school visits and data collection in Singapore and Taiwan to understand the implementation of design-based learning and also evaluation methods for critical thinking. I was also able to conduct the required schools visits in Japan to collect data and also to implement part of the critical thinking framework that I have developed through this research.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
In the next phase of research, I will finalize evaluation criteria in the the critical thinking evaluation framework that I have developed. I will also continue to work with school teachers to implement design-based learning to teach students solve complex problems. Through these lessons, I will adapt and apply the critical thinking evaluation framework created in this research.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Border restrictions was still in placed in Japan and and overseas during the 1st half of 2022. Thus, the original budgeted amount for overseas research and conference presentation was not used. The budget will be used for research implementation, publication and presentation and also overseas field survey.
