研究実績の概要

本研究では、地球外起源のUnresolved Complex Mixture（ガスクロマトグラフィーでは分離できない複雑な混合物;UCM）の構造決定を目的として、炭素質隕石に含まれる脂肪族炭化水素の二次元ガスクロマトグラフィー（GCxGC）質量分析を行い、共溶出化合物の分離・同定を行うことを目的としている。当該年度は、溶媒抽出後の炭素質コンドライト隕石粉末を酸処理し、分離精製した不溶性有機物残渣の含水熱分解を行い、分解生成物を抽出した。当該年度は、研究代表者の一身上の都合により当初の予定どおりに研究を達成することが困難となったため、分解生成物の二次元ガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析測定までは到達しなかったが、研究期間後も本研究を継続し、測定を実施する予定である。

試料の抽出は完了したので、次年度は二次元ガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析測定を行う。

研究代表者の一身上の都合により、当初の予定どおりに研究を達成することが困難となったため、次年度使用額が生じた。この分は、隕石試料の化学処理のために必要な消耗品経費に計上する。
