研究概要

ストレス時の卵巣機能障害に交感神経亢進が関わる可能性をラットで調べた.短期ストレス(皮膚侵害刺激)による卵巣エストラジオール分泌低下が卵巣支配の2種類の交感神経のうち上卵巣神経の活動亢進に起因すること,卵巣エストラジオール分泌低下には,前駆体テストステロンからの変換反応の抑制が関わることを見出した.さらに交感神経を亢進させる長期ストレス(カイニン酸全身投与)により排卵障害を示唆する卵巣組織変化(嚢胞性卵胞数の増加,黄体数の減少)が生じることを示した.
