器官再生における遺伝子発現のエピジェネティックな制御

研究概要

コオロギ幼虫の脚を切断すると、切断された領域が再生芽細胞から再生される。分化細胞と異なり、増殖能が高く多分化能を持つ再生芽細胞ではヒストン H3 の 27 番目のリジン残基のメチル化を制御するエピジェネティック因子の発現が上昇していた。RNAi によりヒストンのメチル化を阻害または亢進させると再生脚の形態が異常になり、パターン形成遺伝子の発現パターンが異常になった。ヒストンのメチル化を介したパターン形成遺伝子のエピジェネティックな発現制御が再生脚のパターン形成に重要である。
