研究概要

1)WB法で判定保留の例に定量的リアルタイムPCR法を導入することで陽性と陰性の判定を行うことができた。2)妊娠に伴いHTLV-1ウイルス量が変化することが明らかになった。一方、HTLV-1ウイルスの標的細胞であるCD4陽性CD25陽性T細胞は変化しておらず、ウイルス量の変化は妊娠に伴う免疫学的寛容との関連が示唆された。3) 臍帯血からHTLV-1プロウイルスが検出される例が確かに存在し、母乳による感染経路以外に、臍帯血を介した胎内感染の可能性が示唆された。
