Outline of Final Research Achievements

As the international activity support team of the research area "Correspondence and Fusion of Artificial Intelligence and Brain Science", we aimed to develop an international network of interdisciplinary research on artificial intelligence and brain science.We held a joint workshop with Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit in London in 2017 and International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Brain Science in 2020 and 2022, which helped to form a network with world-class researchers.We dispatched researchers to and from overseas labs to lay the foundation for continuous collaborative research.
we edited the special issue on Artificial Intelligence and Brain Science in the Neural Networks journal to feature the research accomplishments and future prospects in this interdisciplinary field.
We created a video featuring the accomplishment of the area both in English and Japanese, and published them on the area website, YouTube, and Vimeo.
