Research Abstract

MALDI法は試料の分子構造を壊さず「一分子一ピーク」といった分子量による質量分析を可能にする手法であり、不安定で変質しやすい代謝物質等の網羅的解析を可能とする。また表面にマトリクス分子を展開させた手法(SALDI法)では、修飾表面上に化学吸着した試料のみをイオン化させる手法であるため、従来困難であった「質量分析による定量」への道を開く方法として期待される。しかしながら分析試料に用いるマトリックス分子の選定は一般に経験則により行われるため、本法の可能性が最大限に活用されているとは言い難く、従って微量かつ貴重な生体試料への応用は困難である場合が多い。本研究では分析対象試料に対し、非解離・高感度・高効率化が可能なマトリックス・修飾(形状・分子)表面を、分子科学論的な観点から予想し開発することを目的とする。
